Wheel Offset Chart (covers high offset and wide wheels)

I made this wheel offset chart with information available from the web. I converted it into a picture and tested it. It will print out and fill up an 8 ½ X 11 sheet of paper. It covers wheel widths from 5 ½" to 15" and back spaces from 3 ¼" to 10". I went all the way to a 10 inch backspace because that is the width from the wheel mounting surface to the rear spring in a 67 Eldorado. The chart should also be useful to drag racers with narrowed rear ends and slicks. The high offsets should cover all Corvette, XLR, F-Body, G- Body, Mustang, Eldorado, Seville, STS and import applications.

Rick Dial, a HEARTLAND PRECINCT: Missing Girls cast member, passed away Friday, 5- 27-2011

After our "Hollywood upgrade" was applied to HEARTLAND PRECINCT: Missing Girls, Rick Dial was excited to hear that we were going to be a Screen Actors Guild signatory production. He and I had talked about several roles he could play, but had not officially named his part. However, he was one of the men in the running to play the lead role of the Sheriff.

Rick and I met back in 2001 when I worked in Malvern. I had been talking with him to play a part - again as a sheriff- in my film "Shadow of Sin". He and I had many discussions on the phone and in emails at that time and had become good friends. When I would show up unannounced at his furniture store to talk shop, he would drop everything, tell someone to hold his calls, and he would take me to his office where we would discuss movie business for sometimes an hour or more.

Rick Dial was my biggest cheerleader/supporter in the development of all of my film projects and he read all of my screenplays. He was one of the original members of AMMO: the Arkansas Movie Makers Organization and was soon to be named as a member of the board.

Perhaps best known for his role in "Slingblade" and "The General's Daughter", Rick Dial was in many award winning movies. A few months ago, Rick told me about auditioning with Jack Black for a movie.

Rick Dial enjoyed his life as an actor; it is a special and rare thing when someone dies while living there dream and loving life so much...... My friend, you will be dearly missed.

My Full Story: The Death of My Second Cousin, Actress/Producer Lisa Blount

You've heard the news by now, my second cousin, Academy Award Winner Lisa Blount has died. I'll include a newspaper article link to give the details about her and her career. That is not what this article is about. This is my story about a lost opportunity to have a close family relationship with someone who I had so much in common with - a lost opportunity to work as a teammate with someone whom I idolized.

I did not grow up in the same town as Lisa. Her side of the family was not that close to mine. There was no feud- just no closeness. For years, I only knew of her through our shared family history, for it is through the Blounts that we are related to W.M. Blount, a signer of the U.S. Constitution, and also to the first Norman King of England, William the Conqueror.

Lisa was attaining success as an actress when I was in grade school; during the time when my primary focus was on a future career as a fighter pilot and astronaut hopeful. I was allowed to fly my first plane at age 12; a Cessna 150. The first takeoff and first landing hooked me hard on being airborne. (I must scan those pictures before they get too faded). I had the same genetic line of talent as Lisa, and had a love for writing sci-fi stories and dreaming of one day being an actor / author. That creative entity had gained full momentum by the time I had reached high school, however, and actor/author/director/film producer was added to my top priority list in careers. But I couldn't shake my love for flying, so I decided to go for it all. LOL- needless to say, I was spread way too thin- and have not even mentioned being an inventor, a patriot, and politically active. But, that is another story….

About the time I knew acting was a solid focus, Lisa co-starred in "an Officer and a Gentleman". I started looking into her career and wanted to see her other movies now that we had some things in common. A few years later, I met her in person for the first time at a Blount Family reunion during the time when the "Officer and a Gentleman" movie had given her national fame. It was there that the only picture was taken of her and me together. That picture was – and still is- a cherished possession. It is another must scan item, for it too is fading. I had pinned that picture on every cork board of every dorm room I lived in during college in the 80's and told the story of meeting her to many friends and girlfriends.

When I had my first break into the movies shortly thereafter as an extra in "A Man Outside" with Kathleen Quinlan, I knew that I was on the same path as Lisa, but trailed far behind. It was then that I made a choice that now regret. I decided that I wanted to build my own filmmaking career before I sought to connect with Lisa again so that when I approached her, we could be peers instead of appearing to want favors in the form of help getting a better acting job. I did not want to grow up in her shadow; I wanted to cast my own. I did not want my career to be "in tow" by hers.

I do not regret that decision based on principle; I feel that is solid enough. This is different than networking. Networking is supposed to work both ways as a mutual benefit. I resist the approach of people who want to use me, and therefore, I do not use others in this industry. I have been somewhat secretive about my friendship with another Academy Award winning actress because of this same principle.

Six years ago, I thought I was going to attain the level in my own career as a producer and actor to be able to approach Cousin Lisa, without feeling like a leech. However, my first feature, "Culture Wars the movie", was sabotaged so badly that it is unfixable.

Early this year, when I was finally able to get another feature film project off the ground, I made connections with an equity finance company that would fund the second half of a film budget. The special thing about this company was that it may be the only one that will fund independent films that have a budget under one million dollars as well as projects of over five million dollars. With Lisa's success producing "the Accountant", and her desire to live in Arkansas and produce projects here, I knew I had something that would worthwhile to her in networking. I started trying to contact her again. No luck on my side of the family; their side had grown apart from us; there were no current phone numbers or email addresses, so I attempted to network through my contacts in the local film community. I contacted two filmmaking friends and discovered that they had met her at the Arkansas Film Festival the day before, but did not get a current means of contact. Time went by, and the urgency to contact her left.

My film project, "HEARTLAND PRECINCT: Missing Girls" had temporarily attained enough professional status twice in its development to warrant contact with Lisa, but the connection was unable. Also, the setbacks common to early preproduction had changed my mind about making contact yet…… I wanted to be ready…. I wanted to be standing on my own two filmmaking feet when I approached her again… and now, I'll never get the chance.

So, yes, I mourn for her. Not so much because of anything we had- but because of what could have been. Like her, I am an advocate for Arkansas made films. Like her, I want to operate my career without leaving this wonderful state. Like her, I have the same genetic material that gives us that almost obsessive passion about making movies and acting…. It was a brother/sister-like relationship that could have been, should have been….. but will never be.

I have a very detailed plan for developing an Arkansas centered, film-based economy. She was to be part of that plan. I am the founder and co-president of the Arkansas Move Makers Organization; a group that was close to being established enough to invite her to join… There is real pain in this lost opportunity.

If you have a networking relationship that needs to be developed; please don't wait. I can't go back and fix this.

Artie Green’s Body Shop Calls Me to a Fight in the Parking Lot

The owner of Artie Green's Body Shop in Alexander called me out to a fight today when I insisted he pay for the rip-off job his mechanics did on my wife's car. I asked Artie to "take a shot and make it a good one," but he never swung. Here is the full story:

I had already lived in the neighborhood for ten years when Artie Green expanded his home business and opened up his body shop where Pamela Way and Highway 5 Intersect in Alexander, AR. His new business was immediately plagued with vandalism from teens who would target the only business in this residential area. Being a car guy with several project hotrods, I saw the immediate opportunity for a win-win friendship; I could help keep an eye on his shop as I passed by several times daily, give good PR for him in the neighborhood, and hopefully score some bartering opportunities to help get my old projects roadworthy.

The friendship worked great at first; I was able to trade him some car parts I had on hand for discount repair rates. He would even deal in cash with me so he did not have to pay taxes on the income. He said we were just doing this as "one friend for another". I have not checked the legality of that yet- btw….. Anyway, at first, he did good quality work for me and at very fair tax-free prices. When he did mess up, he would always make it right. I referred several of my friends/family there. At first, when they were unsatisfied with the value and quality of his work, I would defend my friend, Artie, explaining that the problem must be from his hired help.

Come to think of it, I had to have FOUGHT TIRE re-do the tie rod end work and front-end alignment on my station wagon…… and I never understood the $1,500 head job he did on my stepson's Dodge Truck without authorization…… or why Artie drove it home during the time he had it. I even made excuses for him when he parted out the truck when my stepson could not pay for the unauthorized work…… My wife's car and my son's car had been there a few times and in Artie's words, "I never could please your son about anything, and he's very blunt about it."

Soon, I was the only one I knew who would do business at his shop. I paid little attention to that, however, because he had a Mustang I was bartering for. I had traded up to the point where Artie said we needed to figure out when to move it to my house. However, I did not want it until I had the title and could find the missing back wheel that had vanished a few weeks earlier. BTW: A few months later, he sold that car to someone else.

During this time – this is where it gets good- my wife hit a curb in her car after it had come back from our NEW MECHANIC in Cabot, AR. She was stranded and Artie's tow truck happened by. The oil pan was busted and the car could not drive. Artie said he owed us a favor anyway, and so he towed the car back to his shop for free. (We are very grateful for that). I went to Pick and Pull to get a used pan since the 3.1 liter pot metal pans cost $175 new. I had NO IDEA what you have to go through to get one of the pans off…. WOW! I spent over half a day under another Grand Am and almost gave up twice. When Artie quoted $200 labor to do the job, I checked with my NEW MECHANIC who was covered up in work. He said that was a good price and with what I had gone through, I agreed. So we let Artie's shop have this job…. Taking a chance…… Hoping things would go good for us this time…… Listening to warnings from others who had been burned by him before, but selectively believing that this one job would turn out fine.

A week later, my wife went to check on her car. They informed her they did not have it; that she had picked it up a few days ago. "Hello?" she said, "If I had it, I wouldn't be getting a ride here to pick it up." …. They found it out back, offered a cash ticket so she didn't have to pay taxes, and let her drive it home….. It rattled, squeaked, popped and jerked all the way. She took it back saying that something was bad wrong. They drove it and said it was fine. She had her son drive it and he agreed it was still sick. I drove it and then crawled under it to see two loose K-frame bolds (one barley hanging on). I tightened it, but that did not fix all of the problems. I called him and he apologized about the bolts. My wife took the car back again and --- again, they said it was fine.

She parked the car while we were able to trade vehicles and we were going to wait for the new mechanic to go behind Artie's guys and fix it. However, for a few weeks, she HAD to drive it and noted that the problem became very bad. She parked the car in fear after there was a shift of mass under the hood and a grinding noise. It sat two more months waiting for the new mechanic to get free to work on it. Finally that day came.

I wanted to see if the car could drive half the distance to the mechanic's house so he could pick it up from my primary job. I drove down the driveway listening to the grinding and was going to turn around on the street and bring it back to park it. I gave it a little gas, there was a "pop", and I saw a big bolt rolling on the street behind me. After I got the car on jack stands, I saw the problem. The bolts had come out of the front engine/transmission mount and the whole assembly was swinging loose in the engine compartment.

When I shined a light up under the car to see where to install the bolt, I saw a trickle of oil running out of a big glob of gasket glue at one corner of the oil pan….. Hmmmmm.

I put the bolt back in, tightened the other one and was able to drive it this time to my primary job. The new mechanic picked up the car last night and drove it home. This morning, he had a camera phone picture of the oil pan. The mechanics at Artie Green's Body Shop had broken the oil pan during installation and had literally glued one corner of the pan back on with gasket glue.

I went to see Artie today and told him I needed the $200 back and another oil pan so that my mechanic could re-do the job. He cursed me and threw two one hundred dollar bills out of a money wad and demanded that I leave. When I told him that did not cover the oil pan, he said I should be glad to get the $200. When I asked him if he wanted a lawsuit, he said, "No. I want a fight. Come outside!"

I said, "Okay, let's do this" and followed as he called me every dirty name he could think of in as loud a voice as he could manage. His father was chasing us… His wife was exiting fast with his infant son. We made it to the parking lot and he turned toward me while calling me the name of the female sex organ.

In a calm businesslike voice, I asked him to take a shot and make it a good one.

He froze for a second as he waited for his dad to catch us and get between us. He then stood there cursing with newfound bravery like a dog that barks behind the safety of a fence. I then ignored him and talked business with this father in a calm manor.

Artie then snatched the $200 out of my hands and went to his main building while putting on a shouting show for his customers and employees. His father said he is taking anger management classes, and I agreed that is not the Artie I have come to know.

Funny thing, I failed to get angry or even get an adrenaline rush from the incident. I just felt pitty…. And I will admit, even a little disappointment; you see, you just don't call a former US Marine out to public fight, curse him and then back down. I know that fighting over such matters is silly and wrong, and yes, it wouldn't have been enough of a fight to peak the interest of many, but still….. if you call a Marine into a fight, at least give him the excuse to use you as a punching bag for a few seconds. I miss those kind of workouts. Now I feel at a loss….. Anyone want to be a sparing partner? C'mon, please?

Oh well, the experience will still cost him big bucks in the upcoming lawsuit. Cha Ching!

Islam in a nutshell

Islam is not a religion, nor is it a cult. In its fullest form, it is a complete, total, 100% system of life.

Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, social, and military components The religious component is a beard for all of the other components.

Islamization begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious privileges.

When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other components tend to creep in as well.

Here's how it works:

As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will be for the most part be regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in:

United States -- Muslim 0.6%

Australia -- Muslim 1.5%

Canada -- Muslim 1.9%

China -- Muslim 1.8%

Italy -- Muslim 1.5%

Norway -- Muslim 1.8%

At 2% to 5%, they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups, often with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs. This is happening in:

Denmark -- Muslim 2%

Germany -- Muslim 3.7%

United Kingdom -- Muslim 2.7%

Spain -- Muslim 4%

Thailand -- Muslim 4.6%

From 5% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. For example, they will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will put pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves -- along with threats for failure to comply. This is occurring in:

France -- Muslim 8%

Philippines -- 5%

Sweden -- Muslim 5%

Switzerland -- Muslim 4.3%

The Netherlands -- Muslim 5.5%

Trinidad & Tobago -- Muslim 5.8%

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves (within their ghettos) under Sharia, the Islamic Law.The ultimate goal of Islamists is to establish Sharia law over the entire world.

When Muslims approach 10% of the population, they tend to increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions. In Paris, we are already seeing car-burnings. Any non-Muslim action offends Islam andresults in uprisings and threats, such as in Amsterdam, with opposition to Mohammed cartoons and films about Islam. Such tensions are seen daily, particularly in Muslim sections in:

Guyana -- Muslim 10%

India -- Muslim 13.4%

Israel -- Muslim 16%

Kenya -- Muslim 10%

Russia -- Muslim 15%

After reaching 20%, nations can expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings, and the burnings of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues, such as in:

Ethiopia -- Muslim 32.8%

At 40%, nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare, such as in:

Bosnia -- Muslim 40%

Chad -- Muslim 53.1%

Lebanon -- Muslim 59.7%

From 60%, nations experience unfettered persecution of non-believers of all other religions (including non-conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon, and Jizya, the taxplaced on infidels, such as in:

Malaysia -- Muslim 60.4%

Qatar -- Muslim 77.5%

Sudan -- Muslim 70%

After 80%, expect daily intimidation and violent jihad, some State-run ethnic cleansing, and even some genocide, as these nations drive out the infidels, and move toward 100% Muslim, such as has been experienced and in some ways is on-going in:

100% will usher in the peace of 'Dar-es-Salaam' -- the Islamic House of Peace. Here there's supposed to be peace, because everybody is a Muslim, the Madrasses are the only schools, and the Koran is the only word, such as in:

Afghanistan -- Muslim 100%

Saudi Arabia -- Muslim 100%

Somalia -- Muslim 100%

Yemen -- Muslim 100%

Unfortunately, peace is never achieved, as in these 100% states the most radical Muslims intimidate and spew hatred, and satisfy their blood lust by killing less radical Muslims, for a variety of reasons.

It is important to understand that in some countries, with well under 100% Muslim populations, such as France, the minority Muslim populations live in ghettos, within which they are 100% Muslim, and within whichthey live by Sharia Law. The national police do not even enter these ghettos. There are no national courts, nor schools, nor non-Muslim religious facilities. In such situations, Muslims do not integrate intothe community at large. The children attend madrasses. They learn only the Koran. To even associate with an infidel is a crime punishable with death. Therefore, in some areas of certain nations, Muslim Imams and extremists exercise more power than the national average would indicate.

Today's 1.5 billion Muslims make up 22% of the world's population. But their birth rates dwarf the birth rates of Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, and all other believers. Muslims will exceed 50% of the world's population by the end of this century.

Well, boys and girls, today we are letting the fox guard the henhouse. The wolves will be herding the sheep!

Obama appoints two devout Muslims to Homeland Security posts. Doesn't this make you feel safer already?

Obama and Janet Napolitano appoint Arif Alikhan, a devout Muslim, as Assistant Secretary for Policy Development.

DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano swore in Kareem Shora, a devout Muslim who was born in Damascus, Syria, as ADC National Executive Director as a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC).

NOTE: Has anyone ever heard a new government official being identified as a devout Catholic, a devout Jew or a devout Protestant...? Just wondering.

Devout Muslims being appointed to critical Homeland Security positions?Doesn't this make you feel safer already??

That should make the USA ' homeland much safer, huh!! Was it not "Devout Muslim men" that flew planes into U.S. buildings 8 years ago?

Was it not a Devout Muslim who killed 13 at Fort Hood ?

Also: This is very interesting and we all need to read it from start to finish. Maybe this is why our American Muslims are so quiet and not speaking out about any atrocities. Can a good Muslim be a good American? This question was forwarded to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years. The following is his reply:

Theologically -- no . . . Because his allegiance is to Allah, The moon God of Arabia Religiously – no… Because no other religion is accepted by His Allah except Islam (Quran, 2:256)(Koran)

Scripturally - no… Because his allegiance is to the five Pillars of Islam and the Quran.Geographically – no… Because his allegiance is to Mecca , to which he turns in prayer five times a day.Socially - no… Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.. Politically - no…Because he must submit to the mullahs (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America , the great Satan.Domestically - no… Because he is instructed to marry four Women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34)Intellectually - no… Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.Philosophically - no… Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression.. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.Spiritually - no… Because when we declare 'one nation under God,' the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as Heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Quran's 99 excellent names.

Therefore, after much study and deliberation...perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. -- They obviously cannot be both 'good' Muslims and good Americans.

Call it what you wish, it's still the truth. You had better believe it. The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country and our future. The religious war is bigger than we know or understand.

Can a muslim be a good soldier??? Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, opened fire at Ft. Hood and Killed 13. He is a good Muslim!!!

Casting Day has been postponed until June 12th

Due to an oversight, the June 5^th casting day has been postponed one week. That day will be in the middle of the Arkansas Film Festival. The casting session has been rescheduled for Saturday June 12^th. The location has not yet been determined, but will be announced in the invitation to the AMMO members qualified to attend.

Those qualifications are:

1. You must have worked at least one of the 5 HEARTLAND PRECINCT: Missing Girls auditions. (or you must have had prior professional casting experience in a feature film).

2. You must have read the entire script at least once.

3. You must have read the entire cast breakdown.

4. You must be an AMMO member.

5. You must be invited.

NOTE TO ACTORS: I will allow one extra week for send-in taped auditions via yousendit.com to CandlelightPictures777@gmail.com Please send an email announcing that you are sending the link. It has happened twice so far that an actor has informed me that their audition was sent via yousendit, but the audition link was not sent and they to send it a second time. I do not want to miss your audition.

About The Movie

This film is to be shot in HD digital and designed for theatrical release as a crime chiller. It is the first project of AMMO: the Arkansas Movie Makers Organization. AMMO has higher standards of decency than typical Hollywood productions. Although this movie will not be kid-friendly viewing, the movie does contain pro-family values, and addresses some of the root causes of Human Trafficking. It also contains information that may help rescue some of the 100,000 sex slaves currently held captive in the United States whose average age is 11.

The target rating for this movie is PG-13. There will be no nudity, however it may be implied. Some of the scenes will be very intense and may cause the movie to get an R rating. There is no profanity written in the script, however, if an actor adds mild profanity during filming, it will be the director's discretion if it remains.
To get an idea of the thematic elements, see the movies "Human Trafficking" and "Taken".

Casting Priority
Most small roles and bit parts will be reserved for Arkansas residents. This is to ensure that the production does not get delayed by the last minute no show of a small part. The lead and larger supporting roles are open to any U.S. residents.

Shooting Dates
The planned main shoot is currently scheduled for July 24^th through August 8th. Second unit shooting will begin as soon as all elements of the project are ready and the locations become available. Local residents will be needed as extras and bit parts for second unit filming. Additional cast calls may be posted in the Arkansas market as needed to fill these roles.

Qualifications for Audition
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. This is because audition time and space is limited. Minors will not be allowed to participate in this film project without written permission by someone legally responsible for the minor. Therefore we cannot allocate the time needed to audition anyone who will not be given permission to participate in the project. Also, the audition is located in a public place in the downtown area and there will be no AMMO sponsored supervision of minors.

Safety and Conflict of Interest
This movie contains strong anti-porn messages and also addresses other root causes of rape, pedophilia, and Human Trafficking. To ensure the safety of the underage female cast, and to maintain a family friendly on set environment, we will not be hiring any sex offenders. To avoid conflict of interest, we should also avoid working with anyone involved with the production, promotion, distribution or sales of adult / pornographic material. This includes performers within the adult industry. Models / actresses who do nude or topless work need not apply.

SAG Pay Scale Goal

Because the project started with a zero budget plan, all actor salaries and travel expenses will be deferred until distribution unless a higher budget level is reached. If enough investors come onboard, deals may be made with some or all actors for all or partial front end pay.

Although nothing has been finalized at this time, it is our goal to make this production in accordance with a SAG Ultra Low Budget agreement and at least offer scale (or better) rates to the smaller roles and higher than scale rates to the lead and main supporting roles. However, we are still early in pre-production and these details have not yet been finalized.

Bottom line: If this movie does not sell, then you will not be paid. If the movie sells well, then you will be paid SAG scale as a starting point, and distribution will determine what (if any) extra bonuses are paid. However, pay should NOT be the issue about working in this movie. Many have signed onto the project considering it to be a helps ministry for the victims of sex trafficking.

About Sides and Building Your Character

Note 1: Pick the best 2 to 3.5 minutes you can perform. In your read, you can choose to read for MORE THAN ONE character. However, it is your responsibility to make sure the script reader is notified of what sides you are reading from AND that the script reader has found that side before you begin reading. Remember that you may not get a chance to read your full side or set of sides, so pick the best one first.

Note 2: Except for Mary Montgomery, slave girl parts do not have many speaking lines; However, these roles require exceptional acting skills and some of them have a lot of on camera time and facial close-ups. If auditioning for one of these roles, we need to see believable fear, pain, depression, horror, and anger. You may provide your own monologue, or can read the Kaydi Jones sides titled "Kaydi Jones Pam and Rachel sides".

Note 7: Mary Montgomery has two large sides. The one titled Mary and Todd together is a glimpse of Mary as she is filled with high hopes and dreams (the Heartland's sweetheart). My Vision for AMMO, its network and function

This is part of how the Arkansas Movie Makers Organization will function to assist filmmakers, actors, and to spawn a viable movie making market in Arkansas:

Membership in AMMO is NOT restricted to Arkansas residence. AMMO is a regional organization with national and international connections that is focused on making movies in the state of Arkansas. Talent and crew imports and exports are essential to establishing AMMO's Arkansas centered regional footprint.

As we network with neighboring film markets, filmmakers from other states will post cast calls in our website network (which is currently under construction). This will eventually enable Arkansas based talent and crew to have access to hundreds of film projects per year that are within driving distance. One of our goals is to enable permanent Arkansas residence to be full-time professional actors and crew.

When Arkansas filmmakers import talent and crew, it enables regional or national grassroots marketing for the film project even while it still in preproduction. This technique has proven successful with HEARTLAND PRECINCT: Missing Girls. Posting of out of state cast calls has generated a buzz which is causing the project to rapidly become a highly anticipated motion picture. This could lead to a better distribution deal, higher overall sales, and global market coverage.

Also, when an Arkansas made movie has regional competition for its choice acting roles and / or crew positions, it is possible for the filmmaker to select the best match for the project from a larger pool of resources.

Some AMMO filmmakers will restrict cast and crew calls- reserving their film to Arkansan only participation. This is fare and acceptable since AMMO is an Arkansas organization. AMMO film producers will have the right to decide what – if any – regional participation is allowed in his/her own project. Also, budget, script, and experience concerns must be addressed. Of course, it would not be proper for a student filmmaker to post regional cast calls for a non-commercial project. Even if all compensation is deferred, the driving time and expenses of the cast / crew must be considered. As a general rule, regional participation should only be advertised for projects that have a realistic chance for commercial distribution. The exception, however, would be Memphis. The Memphis film market is well established, proven, stocked with seasoned professionals and located only 2.5 hours away from Little Rock, making it closer than many Arkansas cities. Memphis, will therefore be considered our "sister film market", and we will focus much PR attention and advertising there.

AMMO is currently the fastest growing Arkansas film network, and is poised to soon become Arkansas' largest and most powerful moviemaking resource.

Arkansas' current disadvantage in filmmaking comes from an unimpressive state incentive package and slow moving legislation efforts to create kickbacks that are inviting to would be investors. AMMO's long term goals are not only to try to influence film-positive legislation, but also to produce our own subsidy package that would be available to qualifying productions. This would be designed to bridge the gap between Arkansas' lacking investment incentive plans and those of other states.

Therefore, it is AMMO's goal to be a privately run partner to the state's film commission, not a competitor.

Arkansan AMMO members use the slogan, "Ready to Shoot in Arkansas" However, our Marketing to out of state film markets will be "If you want to shoot something in Arkansas, you need AMMO."

Our ability to partner with an incoming production would give us a advantage in casting and crew placement - opening up larger starring roles for local Arkansas actors (as well as non-Arkansan AMMO members) in Hollywood films.

The difference between AMMO and the state film commission is that the Arkansas State Film Commission is focused on bringing in productions from out of state, and the Arkansas Movie Makers Organization's main focus is developing local film projects from local producers. Part of our mission is to create a non-profit film fund. Ideally, the fund would have enough currency that the interest could be used to finance, zero, micro, ultra-low, and low budget film projects without diminishing the fund. This would allow the fund to act as a bank that can make zero interest loans to qualifying AMMO member film producers. These loans would only have to be paid back if and when the project sells. Because of this, the qualification process would greatly favor commercial features over experimental, short, and / or artistic endeavors.

AMMO is to function on various levels from a passive network to a fully functional movie studio. The current idea for the divisions are described below

Level One

The passive database. Membership and participation is free at this level. You list your production, crew and/or talent resume into the database as a form of free classified ads. All AMMO members are free to use this network. The only restriction is that no porn producers or performers are allowed. The database would be occasionally policed by "mystery shoppers" to ensure compliance.

Level Two

Private individual movie project building. Membership and participation is still free at this level. AMMO filmmakers can shop the network and put together projects from student level to professional level as long as those projects meet AMMO's minimum standards for decency. These projects do not have to be pre-approved, and they are not actively governed; it is up to the integrity of the filmmaker and the participants to police themselves and ensure conformity to AMMO's policies.

Level Three

AMMO members who wish to produce a film while retaining 100% ownership and control of their project, but lacking all of the resources to complete the project can submit work requests for whatever is needed. AMMO is being hired to fill the production's needs. These scripts need to be pre-approved for content since active AMMO participation is required. If AMMO's hired participation is deferred, then the script needs to also be accessed and qualified for commercial marketability. AMMO's deferred assistance would constitute a form of sponsorship.

Level Four

AMMO members who wish to retain 100% ownership and control of their project, can submit a movie idea and provide full funding. AMMO would staff a writing panel and facilitate the entire production of the project from conception to distribution according to the wishes of the producer who has hired the service.

Level Five

AMMO partners with local film producers who are not adequately staffed or funded to produce a commercial grade feature film. This type of project is known as am AMMO sponsored project. AMMO becomes 50% owner of the project. The producer (or his/her production company) maintains a majority share of the artistic control of the project, but AMMO assists with everything from setting up the LLC of the movie, editing the script for content and commercial marketability, auditions, casting, locations, crew staffing, and marketing. AMMO collectively is the co-producer.

HEARTLAND PRECINCT: Missing Girls is an example of a level five or AMMO sponsored project. These projects will be picked from script pitch meetings.

It is the goal of AMMO to use level five projects to develop new filmmakers. It is the goal of new filmmakers to get to the point within AMMO that they do not need level five assistance. However, for as many level five films a producer receives assistance on, it will be custom for that producer, once established, to donate that same number of projects into level five participation. In other words, if it takes four level five projects to transform a film graduate into a superstar, that superstar should then "give back" by partnering 50 / 50 with AMMO in big budget productions.

Level Six

AMMO partners with Hollywood productions coming into the state and uses its assistance and subsidy package to influence the decency content of the script. AMMO assists that production and helps staff the required percentage of Arkansans in cast and crew to entitle that production to better investment kickback rates.

Level Seven

AMMO staff writers begin with an idea and AMMO works as a single entity from concept to finish as the only producer (and investor if applicable) and AMMO is the 100% owner of the project. Such a project would be listed as "an AMMO film"

Lead Characters

Sheriff Nick Middleton – (Mid to late 40s) White. Tall and tough looking. Does not have to be super handsome, but he is not unattractive. Can be slightly heavy. He is confident, strong, and moral. A family man made serious by his job. Former Military. . He is fast paced, sharp, well educated, serious, and sometimes emotionally distant. He is an Alpha Male softened by having the compassion of Christ. Nick is NOT country, or cowboy, or redneck. He would only wear a cowboy hat on Halloween. He has no noticeable southern accent.

Mary Montgomery – (17) White. Fashion model or glamour model looks. She is untouched and unkissed. She is a head-strong outspoken conservative Christian activist who runs a home based video pod cast, talk show and blog. She is like a female version of Rush Limbaugh. Mary is no Southern Bell, has no accent. She could easily be a full-time news anchor. Her only local intellectual match is Todd Middleton. Like the "Lion and the Lamb" Mary has the peaceful, gentile compassion of Jesus Christ, but when confronted by enemies she is bold, confrontational, and can be like Jesus when he chased the money changers out of the temple. Bottom-line; she's a head-strong leader. Home schooled and academically ahead of her public school counter parts.

Kaydi Jones – (12) Cute, innocent and naïve in the beginning, but it does not last long. She is kidnapped by sex traffickers and is, raped, beaten, psychologically tortured and is being trained to be an underage hooker. Sometimes, she is "hollow" and distant (in shock). Other times she is very aware and frightened. Not a whole lot of speaking lines, but plenty of screen time all the way through the movie. She must act with her eyes. (Excellent acting skills with a very wide range are mandatory.)

Mike – (40- 50) White. Leader of the small sex trafficker gang. A cunning and forward thinking businesslike entrepreneur building an illegal local sex industry from the ground up. He takes pride in his small operation, Good at delegation. Only mean when needed. He does not think he is evil; he is amoral. Mike is not country, but can have a SLIGHT Southern accent. He is personable and could have been a doctor, lawyer or politician. He is well educated and knows psychology. He is a pick-up artist who uses his skills on the internet to trap underage girls by using fake social network profiles of 15 – 18 year-old guys. He truly thinks that he is the natural result of secular Evolutionary philosophy.

Deputy Holly Vega – (30 – 40) White or Latino. Attractive, tough, moral, adventurous, a Mustang car lover, who is good with computers and guns. Comfortable as a detective or undercover cop. If she was in a Bond movie, she would be the girl that Bond wanted, but couldn't have. She is strong, single and not looking. She is Sheriff Middleton's tough case partner and a good friend. Holly is outwardly a tomboy, but has a natural sex appeal that attracts younger guys. She hides her inner girly, girl vulnerability from everyone except Sheriff Nick Middleton and Detective Truman Ford.

Detective Truman Ford P.I. (40s) Can be White, Latino, or Asian, He is moral and inwardly attractive. He is a team player. He becomes the unexpected love interest of Detective Holly Vega during the investigation; therefore, physically he needs to be someone that Holly Vega would be interested in. Truman is NOT country, cowboy, or redneck. He would never wear a cowboy hat and has never ridden a horse. He is no alpha-male, but his integrity is rock solid and he is naturally charming & strong. He can talk with a woman openly about his feelings making him irresistible to many contemporary women. He downplays himself with playful non-sincere cockiness. He is a wholesome, open-book, good guy. Friendly, trusted and loyal. However, he is somewhat troubled inside by all of the evil he has seen in this line of work. He is a Corvette fan and former racer.

Supporting Characters

Derrick – (25 - 38) Black, big, scary and super strong; he could be a lineman on a College football team. He has a loud, deep voice. He is a sex trafficker who enjoys being abusive. He's a loose cannon, rapist, and murderer. He is head-strong and is sometimes a challenge to control. The girls fear him the most; he can unnerve you just by being in the same room with you. Over the top bad guy.

Rodney – (30s) Hispanic or white. Medium to small, thin. A sex trafficker, a follower. Has a soft spot, but it does not keep him from doing his job training the girls through rape and abuse. He offers occasional kind words and what he feels is encouragement. He is bossed around by Derrick and is often stuck doing the cooking and laundry. He is a creepy, greasy, sleazy, weasel.

Todd Middleton (17) the Sheriff's son and Mary's boyfriend. A handsome, tall, thin, karate geek, science fair winner and inventor. He is fearful of elaborate government and corporate conspiracies. He is Mary's cameraman. A follower. A romantic dreamer. He honors his commitment to not try anything with Mary.

Clare Middleton – (40- 42) White, Asian, or Native American. A bit heavy due to change of life. Intimidated by Agatha's beauty. She's not the insecure jealous type, but suspects her husband's friendship with Holly Vega is a pending affair.

Deputy Sean "Gung Ho" Briggs – (24) A rookie deputy. A former U.S. Marine fresh out of active duty as Corporal in Force Recon. He is a testosterone juiced, macho, jock and ladies' man. He would be a total jerk except for his dedication to his job and hunger to save the world that gives him a likeable hero quality.

In addition to developing HEARTLAND PRECINCT: Missing Girls, AMMO is also in development of the student level comedy, Miss Best Advice, a Sharl Hill short film. About the Movie

This film will cover the tough subject of Human Trafficking. It is to be shot in HD digital and designed for theatrical release as a crime chiller. It is the first project of AMMO: the Arkansas Movie Makers Organization. AMMO has higher standards of decency than typical Hollywood productions. Although this movie will not be kid-friendly viewing, the movie does contain pro-family values, and addresses some of the root causes of Human Trafficking. It also contains information that may help rescue some of the 100,000 sex slaves currently held captive in the United States (average age 11).

The target rating for this movie is PG-13. There will be no nudity, however it may be implied. Some of the scenes will be very intense and may cause the movie to get an R rating. There is no profanity written in the script, however, if an actor adds mild profanity during filming, it will be the director's discretion if it remains.

To get an idea of the thematic elements, see the movies "Human Trafficking" and" Taken".

This film originally started as a local zero budget project. However, there has been such great interest due to subject matter and script quality that individuals from seven states have expressed interest in joining the project.

Qualifications

Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. This is because audition time and space is limited. Minors will not be allowed to participate in this film project without written permission by someone legally responsible. Therefore we cannot allocate the time needed to audition anyone who will not be given permission to participate in the project.

Safety and Conflict of Interest

This movie contains strong anti-porn messages and also addresses other root causes of rape, pedophilia, and Human Trafficking. To ensure the safety of the underage female cast, and to maintain a family friendly on set environment, we will not be hiring any sex offenders. To avoid conflict of interest, we should also avoid working with anyone involved with the production, promotion, distribution or sales of adult / pornographic material. This includes performers within the adult industry. Models / actresses who do nude or topless work need not apply.

Shooting Dates

The planned main shoot is currently scheduled for July 24^th through August 8^th. Second unit shooting may begin as soon as all elements of the project are ready and the locations become available. Quality is the utmost priority for this venture.

Arkansas is a "Right to Work" state. Assuming we reach a satisfactory agreement with "the guild", we will hire SAG and non-SAG actors.

Sending a Self-Made Audition Reel

If you can not make it to our audition, you can use yousendit.com and email us a self-made audition by June 1^st. If auditioning for one character, length should be 1 to 3.5 minutes in length. If auditioning for more than one character, please limit the reads to 2.5 minutes each. It is best to have one character per submission instead of one long reel with different characters.

Casting

Casting will begin on June 5^th and will be done by a committee of 3 to 10 AMMO filmmakers who are collaborating in the project. You may get cast for a role different than what you were auditioning for; you may audition for this movie and could get a call from one of the AMMO producers about a possible casting assignment in one of their other movies.

Casting Priority

Most small roles and bit parts will be reserved for Arkansas residents. This is to ensure that the production does not get delayed by the last minute no show of a small part. The lead and larger supporting roles are open to any U.S. residents.

Why Hold Auditions Outside of Arkansas?

AMMO's mission is to build a viable movie market in Arkansas. This market does not currently exist. Arkansas has hundreds of talented actors, but to maximize the potential quality outcome, we have extended the recruiting process for the lead and main supporting roles in an effort to attract working professionals from already established film markets. We will reserve the small roles for Arkansas residents so that the project cannot be delayed by a small part no show.

Although this is an open audition, it is NOT an "all call" for everyone who wants to act. We are looking for the BEST actors to fill the lead and major supporting roles.

Lead Characters:

Sheriff Nick Middleton – (Mid to late 40s) White. Tall and tough looking. Does not have to be super handsome, but he is not unattractive. Can be slightly heavy. He is confident, strong, and moral. A family man made serious by his job. Former Military. . He is fast paced, sharp, well educated, serious, and sometimes emotionally distant. He is an Alpha Male softened by having the compassion of Christ. Nick is NOT country, or cowboy, or redneck. He would only wear a cowboy hat on Halloween. He has no noticeable southern accent.

Mary Montgomery – (17) White. Fashion model or glamour model looks. She is untouched and unkissed. She is a head-strong outspoken conservative Christian activist who runs a home based video pod cast, talk show and blog. She is like a female version of Rush Limbaugh. Mary is no Southern Bell, has no accent. She could easily be a full-time news anchor. Her only local intellectual match is Todd Middleton. Like the "Lion and the Lamb" Mary has the peaceful, gentile compassion of Jesus Christ, but when confronted by enemies she is bold and confrontational. Bottom-line; she's a head-strong leader. She is home schooled and academically ahead of her public school counter parts.

Kaydi Jones – (12) Cute, innocent and naïve in the beginning, but it does not last long. She is kidnapped by sex traffickers and is, raped, beaten, psychologically tortured and is being trained to be an underage prostitute. Sometimes, she is "hollow" and distant (in shock). Other times she is very aware and frightened. Not a lot of speaking lines, but plenty of screen time all the way through the movie. She must act with her eyes. (Excellent acting skills with a very wide range are mandatory.)

Mike – (40- 50) White. Leader of the small sex trafficker gang. A cunning and forward thinking businesslike entrepreneur building an illegal local sex industry from the ground up. He takes pride in his small operation, Good at delegation. Only mean when needed. He does not think he is evil; he is amoral. Mike is not country, but can have a SLIGHT Southern accent. He is personable when around other men and could have been a doctor, lawyer or politician. However, he can change into a forceful and scary monster when he needs to scare the girls. He is well educated and knows psychology. He's a pick-up artist who traps under aged girls on the internet by using fake social network profiles of young guys. He truly thinks that he is the natural result of secular Evolutionary philosophy.

Deputy Holly Vega – (30 – 40) White or Latino. Attractive, tough, moral, adventurous, a Mustang car lover, who is good with computers and guns. Comfortable as a detective or undercover cop. If she was in a Bond movie, she would be the girl that Bond wanted, but couldn't have. She is strong, single and not looking. She is Sheriff Middleton's tough case partner and a good friend. Holly is outwardly a tomboy, but has a natural sex appeal that attracts younger guys. She hides her inner girly, girl vulnerability from everyone except Sheriff Nick Middleton and Detective Truman Ford.

Detective Truman Ford P.I. (40s) Can be White, Latino, or Asian, He is moral and inwardly attractive. He is a team player. He becomes the unexpected love interest of Detective Holly Vega during the investigation; therefore, physically he needs to be someone that Holly Vega would be interested in. Truman is NOT country, cowboy, or redneck. He would never wear a cowboy hat and has never ridden a horse. He is no alpha-male, but his integrity is rock solid and he is naturally charming & strong. He can talk with a woman openly about his feelings making him irresistible to many contemporary women. He downplays himself with playful non-sincere cockiness. He is a wholesome, open-book, good guy. Friendly, trusted and loyal. However, he is somewhat troubled inside by all of the evil he has seen in this line of work. He is a Corvette fan and former racer.

Main Supporting Characters

Derrick – (25 - 38) Black, big, scary and super strong; he could be a lineman on a professional football team. He has a loud, deep voice. He is a sex trafficker who enjoys being abusive. He's a loose cannon, rapist, and murderer. He is head-strong and sometimes a challenge to control. The girls fear him the most; he can unnerve people just by being in the same room. Over the top bad guy.

Rodney – (30s) Hispanic or white. Medium to small, thin. A sex trafficker, a follower. Has a soft spot, but it does not keep him from doing his job training the girls through rape and abuse. He offers occasional kind words and what he feels is encouragement. He is bossed around by Derrick and is often stuck doing the cooking and laundry. He is a creepy, greasy, sleazy, weasel.

Todd Middleton (17) the Sheriff's son and Mary's boyfriend. A handsome, tall, thin, karate geek, science fair winner and inventor. He is fearful of elaborate government and corporate conspiracies. He is Mary's cameraman. A follower. A romantic dreamer. He honors his commitment to not try anything with Mary.

Clare Middleton – (40- 42) White, Asian, or Native American. A bit heavy due to change of life. Intimidated by Agatha's beauty. She's not the insecure jealous type, but suspects her husband's friendship with Holly Vega is a pending affair.

Deputy Sean "Gung Ho" Briggs – (24) A rookie deputy. A former U.S. Marine fresh out of active duty as Corporal in Force Recon. He is a testosterone juiced, macho, jock and ladies' man. He would be a total jerk except for his dedication to his job and hunger to save the world that gives him a likeable hero quality.

Pam -(13- 15) White. An innocent girl who is kidnapped by the sex traffickers. The movie's plot has violent intensity in store for this character; the actress must have excellent dramatic skills. However, this role may not be suitable for many young girls to play.

Princeton Montgomery M.D. -(50) Mary's father and a surgeon. A dedicated family man and strong Christian role model. Confident attractive and wealthy.

Agatha Montgomery -(37- 40) A retired model, Mary's mother and Princeton's wife. She's responsible for Mary's beauty, conservative Christian morals, and home schooled education.

The current plan is to make this a SAG ultra low budget project, but nothing has been finalized yet. Our goal is to use SAG and non-SAG actors.

Film Budget

This project first began with a zero budget or ultra low budget plan in mind. The script was being written so that the movie could be made with the voluntary participation of people, cameras, locations, props, equipment, and sweat equity. Many of those elements still exist under the current plan; however, recent financial developments and sponsorship have dramatically increased potential production quality expectations. Police department and hospital sponsorship are still needed to bring the production up to the level it needs to be, but progress is being made. The final product will be of professional grade quality, but will shot for a fraction of the estimated cost.

This is the first project of AMMO: the Arkansas Movie Makers. AMMO has a higher standard of decency than typical Hollywood productions. Although this movie will not be kid-friendly viewing, it is a pro-family movie that will help prevent young girls from being kidnapped by sex traffickers.

DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS

Qualifications for Audition

Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. This is because audition time and space is limited. Minors will not be allowed to participate in this film project without written permission by someone legally responsible for the minor. Therefore we cannot allocate the time needed to audition anyone who will not be given permission to participate in the project. Also, the audition is located in a public place in the downtown area and there will be no AMMO sponsored supervision of minors.

The AMMO organization is NOT responsible for the safety of any person who chooses to attend a public audition, either as a participant or the guest of a participant. The AMMO organization is not responsible for the conduct of anyone at or near the public audition location. The AMMO organization will not be responsible for any loss or theft of private property, or any theft/damage to a motor vehicle parked in public or private parking.

General Safety

As a general safety precaution, we prefer that females of any age not come to any type of audition function alone. If AMMO members identify suspicious or disruptive behavior by anyone attending the audition, such persons will be forced to leave by the off duty police officers attending the event as AMMO members.

Where and When to Arrive

Report to the Arkansas Studies Institute (room 110) any time after 9:15 A.M. Auditions begin at 9:30 sharp. (No one is allowed inside the building before 9 A.M. and it will take us a few minutes to get in and set up.) If you choose to arrive early, you may line up in the main library parking lot. The Arkansas Studies Institute parking lot entrance is close to room 110. Note: You may prefer public parking because the library parking will cost about $2 per hour. For specific directions, go to mapquest, type in your "From" address and the "To" address. This will give you specific directions to the Arkansas Studies Institute, across street from the River market in Little Rock.

First Come First Serve

The audition is first come, first serve. The first 15 people to SIGN THE ROSTER will audition during the first hour; the second fifteen will audition the next hour and so on. This means that only the first 110 people to sign the roster will get a chance to audition before the audition closes. Remember that if you arrive and see 110 or more people in line, it does NOT mean you are too late to get a chance to audition. Many people will attend the event with both parents and other family members. We will announce when the roster is full. In the event of a heavier turnout, remember that we do accept self-made 1 to 4 minute video taped audition reads in DVD, CD and VHS formats, but DVD is preferred. You may also email your audition. The preferred method of sending audition reels is by yousendit.com. Some other services are blocked by our filters.

With Freedom Comes Responsibility

Once you have signed the roster, you are free to rehearse, network, hangout in the waiting room, leave and return, visit the shops in the River Market or whatever. You must, however, return early enough to be called into the filming room even if we run ahead of schedule. If you miss your turn, you will be placed at the back of the waiting list and may not get a chance to audition before the building closes.

When you are called

When you are called for your turn, you will be escorted to room 132 for your script read. Room 132 is an executive video conferencing room with a glass wall and glass entrance door. You will stop behind the person who is waiting to go next. This will be before you reach the glass wall so that the audition in progress cannot be seen by you. You are not allowed to wave at or otherwise distract the judges through the glass wall. If we have enough script readers, one will be waiting for you outside the room; you will assist them in locating and marking your chosen script sides and that reader will accompany you into the filming room when it is your turn. If no extra reader is there, you will do this function quickly when asked to enter the filming room. (If we do not have enough script readers, you may be asked to volunteer as a script reader for next person to audition.)

Your 4 Minutes of Glory

When you are asked to enter, your four minutes has already started. (If you have not yet spoken with a script reader, then you must first discuss your script sides selection with the reader. This will NOT extend your allotted time). You will then stand on the mark in front of the camera. You will be located across from the center of the executive conference table and across from 2 to 8 judges at a fairly close range. You will take your cues from the camera operator who will be video taping your audition read. When the cameraman is ready you will state your name and the character(s) you are reading for while facing the camera. Then you will wait one or two seconds and begin your read(s) WITHOUT looking into the camera. (The only exception to this is when reading for Mary Montgomery while her character is doing the live pod cast scene)

Note 1: In addition to reading script sides, you are allowed to perform a 1 minute (non-comedy) monologue from any movie, stage play or TV show provided it does not contain profanity or vulgarity. Our goal is to see your ability to act and show natural emotions.

Note 2: Reading for a character does not mean that is the only character you will be considered for. Many characters do not have sides to read from. Choose to read from something you can perform well, and the producers' casting committee will match you to the best part available.

Note 3: Pick the best 4 minutes you can perform. In your read, you can choose to read for MORE THAN ONE character. However, it is your responsibility to make sure the script reader is notified of what sides you are reading from AND that the script reader has found that side before you begin reading.

Note 4: Except for Mary Montgomery, slave girl parts do not have many speaking lines; However, these roles require exceptional acting skills and some of them have a lot of on camera time and facial close-ups. If auditioning for one of these roles, we need to see believable fear, pain, depression, horror, and anger. You may provide your own monologue, or can read a Holly Vega monologue and then to show range, counter that by performing the side titled Mary and Todd together.

Note 5: The script sides provided altered script pages. The action / directions have been removed, so feel free to be creative as long as it is real. Conversations from different parts of the script have been linked together with minimal notification of a scene change. When you transition from scene to scene during your read, try to display emotions appropriate to what is being discussed. Without overacting, try to show some range of emotion.

When Your Time Is Up

After your four minutes have expired, you will be stopped even if the scene you are reading is not yet finished. At that time, you are excused to return to room 110 to pick up any friends or materials you have left there. There will be no time to visit with the judges. If you have questions, please address them to the host or hostess in room 110. You are welcome to network or visit with the people in room 110 after your read if there are plenty of available chairs. Seating priority is for those who have not read yet and for the two to four friends or family of the person who has not yet auditioned. If the room is crowded, please leave the room; there are plenty of places in the River Market area to network with newfound friends.

Notes for Building Characters in Your Rehearsal

Holly Vega has 8 pages of sides so that the talent can better understand her complex mix of strength and vulnerability. It is not intended for anyone auditioning to read all 8 pages in their audition. If you audition for Holly Vega, pick one of the two monologues and one or more other scenes to fill your four minute block. Identify the scene you want the script reader to assist you with before you begin your monologue so that the script reader is ready for you when you finish your monologue presentation.

Sheriff Nick Middleton and some other characters have two sets of sides. Anyone auditioning for the Sheriff should read the side titled Nick and Clare together. It is suggested that the "interview with Jenny Jones" sides be used in the audition with the Nick and Clare together sides for a better Sheriff Nick Middleton read. Be sure to NOT present Sheriff Middleton as country. Country sheriff stereotypes or heavy accents will not be considered.

Mary Montgomery has two large sides. The one titled Mary and Todd together is a glimpse of Mary as she is filled with high hopes and dreams (the Heartland's sweetheart). The other part of the sides shows Mary in her three needed characteristics. When she talks with Todd, she is Mary, the gentile. When she talks to the callers, she is Mary the fighter as well as Mary the friendly. When she does her pod cast as a reporter, she is looking into the camera and is Mary the Professional.

Call Backs

At this time, there is no scheduled call-back audition. All minor and most supporting roles will be filled with one audition read. If there is difficulty making a decision about one or more of the lead or supporting roles, a small call-back audition might be scheduled.

Please understand that the production staff is already overworked. Casting assignments will not be made until after May 8th. The best way to keep track of our progress is to join the AMMO yahoo group. If you are cast, then obviously you will be notified. If you are not cast, we will try to contact you, but cannot guarantee when. For Arkansas residents, there will also be calls for extras as needed during production. These will be posted in the AMMO yahoo group and on the Little Rock craigslist.

To Get a Copy of the Script Sides

It is YOUR responsibility to print your own copy of the script sides. There are two current ways to get access to them. The most preferred way is to join AMMO's yahoo group. Once approved, you can access the files link located on the left hand side of the home page. There is a folder named "sides for sex trafficking movie". Click that link and download what you want. The alternate method is to email CandlelightPictures777@gmail.com and request script sides. Candlelight Pictures currently receives 100 – 300 emails per day, so response times may be very slow.

One community use set of sides will be provided for the waiting room to facilitate walk-ins and those who do not have internet access. Those who audition early can choose to leave their copies of sides for others.

Scripts

The script is a closely guarded document; the complete script is available only to members of the production staff and approved cast members. Segments of the script have been made available to perspective investors, producers, sponsors, and some celebrities who have been invited to participate in the project. Minor cast members may only get a portion of the script that covers the segment they are working on. The best way to get an idea of what the script has in it is to read all sides for all characters and to read the plot synopsis and character descriptions.

Copy of Your Audition

There will be a sign up sheet in the waiting room for people wanting a copy of their audition read. We do not know yet how much this will cost or how long you will have to wait to receive it. Information should be available at the time of the audition.

The new title is: HEARTLAND PRICINCT: Missing Girls

The former working titles were "I Was Trafficked" and "Girls for Sale"

This movie deals with the tough subject of sex trafficking.

To get an idea of the thematic elements, see the movies "Human Trafficking" or "Taken". The purpose of this movie is to raise awareness of human trafficking and to protect women.

Shooting Dates

Projected Rating

The target rating for this movie is PG-13. There will be no nudity, however it may be implied. Some of the scenes will be very intense and may cause the movie to get an R rating. Also, there is no profanity written in the script, however, if an actor adds mild profanity during filming, it will be the director's discretion if it remains. To get an idea of the thematic elements to be used in this film, see the movies "Human Trafficking" and "Taken". This movie is being designed as a psychological crime chiller for theatrical release. It is not a documentary, but its purpose is to raise awareness of human trafficking in America, educate the audience as how to help victims, and protect girls by providing them and their parents with helpful information that can avoid capture.

SAG Pay Goal

This is a micro budget project using all available investment for a quality production. Currently, ALL pay (unless otherwise arranged) is BACK END pay, and at the current budget level, there is no ability to pay travel or lodging on the front end. Therefore all travel and lodging (unless otherwise arranged) will also be paid on the back end. We are still early in pre-production; investors may come onboard the project before shooting dates and this may allow a travel expense fund. It is our goal is to produce the film with a SAG ultra low budget agreement. In addition, it is also our goal to work out a higher projected payment plan for the lead and larger supporting roles based on sales and distribution as an add on bonus. However, that process will occur later. It is AMMO's goal create a good reputation in the talent market within Arkansas and the surrounding states, so the final pay numbers should be impressive. However, this micro budget movie is about helping the victims of human trafficking. This is the actor's opportunity to come into a project with an attitude of "what can I bring to the table" NOT "what can I get out of this one". This movie will not make anyone rich, but it may help free some of the 100,000 slave girls in America today (their average age is 11).

SAG and non-SAG actors

The current plan is to make this a SAG ultra low budget project, but nothing has been finalized yet. Our goal is to use SAG and non-SAG actors.

Lead Characters:

Mary Montgomery – (17) White. Fashion model or glamour model looks. She is untouched and unkissed. She is a head-strong outspoken conservative Christian activist who runs a home based video pod cast, talk show and blog. She is like a female version of Rush Limbaugh. Mary is no Southern Bell, has no accent. She could easily be a full-time news anchor. Her only local intellectual match is Todd Middleton. Like the "Lion and the Lamb" Mary has the peaceful, gentile compassion of Jesus Christ, but when confronted by enemies she is bold, confrontational, and can be like Jesus when he chased the money changers out of the temple. Bottom-line; she's a head-strong leader. Home schooled and academically ahead of her public school counter parts.

Kaydi Jones – (12) Cute, innocent and naïve in the beginning, but it does not last long. She is kidnapped by sex traffickers and is, raped, beaten, psychologically tortured and is being trained to be an underage hooker. Sometimes, she is "hollow" and distant (in shock). Other times she is very aware and frightened. Not a whole lot of speaking lines, but plenty of screen time all the way through the movie. She must act with her eyes. (Excellent acting skills with a very wide range are mandatory.)

Mike – (40- 50) White. Leader of the small sex trafficker gang. A cunning and forward thinking businesslike entrepreneur building an illegal local sex industry from the ground up. He takes pride in his small operation, Good at delegation. Only mean when needed. He does not think he is evil; he is amoral. Mike is not country, but can have a SLIGHT Southern accent. He is personable and could have been a doctor, lawyer or politician. He is well educated and knows psychology. He is a pick-up artist who uses his skills on the internet to trap underage girls by using fake social network profiles of 15 – 18 year-old guys. He truly thinks that he is the natural result of secular Evolutionary philosophy.

Supporting Characters

Allen Craig – (51) Rough looking truck driver pedophile caught in sting operation who later becomes a witness. A story teller. Can't tell when he is being truthful.

Princeton Montgomery M.D. -(50) Mary's father and a surgeon. A dedicated family man and strong Christian role model. Confident attractive and wealthy.

Agatha Montgomery -(37- 40) A retired model, Mary's mother and Princeton's wife. She's responsible for Mary's beauty, conservative Christian morals, and home schooled education.

Jack Jones – (30s) Kaydi's father. A loving parent who has no clue about the world's dangers. Carefree, until his daughter is taken, then he steps into action.

Jenny Jones – (30s) Kaydi's Mother. A loving parent naïve about how fast her daughter is maturing. Feels helpless and lost after her daughter is kidnapped.

Deputy Lucy Smith – (40+) Any race. Average appearance and build. Not too many speaking lines, but meaningful on camera time throughout the movie.

Minor Supporting Characters

Rachel – (10) A pre teen sex slave. Dramatically intense filming required. Must have excellent acting ability with her eyes and facial expressions. Not a suitable role for everyone to play.

Deputy Jeff "Razorback" Spelling (30-45) A rookie deputy and the side-kick friend of Sean "Gung Ho" Briggs. He is more of a tag-a-long in this movie, but may be developed more in a sequel.

Karen -(14) The young actress who is used as bait in the opening action sequence sex predator sting operation.

Lance -(50) Any race. Owner of Memphis nightclub/brothel. Has V.I.P. contacts. Upscale businessman. No one would suspect he's involved in the sex industry.

Humphrey – (50-60) Lance's assistant and an auctioneer during slave trading. Heavy, short. Any race. A frustrated blue collar worker turned thug.

Small Parts

Mrs. Woods -(60) Black. Strong. Loud. Richard's grandmother. Opinionated.

Richard Woods (14) Black. He is an angry rebel hooked on porn and alcohol until he gets a surprise wakeup call from the police.

Bobby – (30s) A clean, attractive pedophile caught in opening sting operation.

Officer One (30s) A policeman who makes a traffic stop.

Senator (50 – 60) Male. Any Race. Pedophile. May or may not see his face. He is a U.S. Senator who buys an hour with a Rachel. He's Lance's friend visiting the Brothel for pleasure.
